Hurricane Florence Update

Sunday September 16:

While downgraded to a tropical depression, the storm continues to cause destruction and dangerous flooding.

We are monitoring our North Carolina-based staff and their project sites as well as our project in Myrtle Beach and its staff. Leaving residences and accessing project sites where we work in these areas could remain challenging in the days ahead. Safety and personal welfare will remain our top priority.

Our South Carolina project sites and our corporate office will reopen tomorrow, Monday, September 17th.

Friday September 14:

As of 3pm today, our Columbia jobsite has been secured and closed. We continue to keep an eye on Hurricane Florence as it makes it’s way through the Carolina’s. As the storm passes we will be checking in with our employees and assessing the status of our projects and office.

Wednesday September 12:

We continue to monitor Hurricane Florence and as of noon on Tuesday, September 11, all jobsites in Charleston and Myrtle Beach were secured and closed. As of 5pm today, Wednesday September 12, the CF Evans corporate office and all remaining jobsites, with the exception of one in Columbia, are secured and closed until further notice.

Our Columbia site will remain open tomorrow (Thursday) September 13th.

We are incredibly proud of our employees and their teamwork and the efforts made to prepare for Hurricane Florence. The safety and well being of our employees, their families, and our partners is our number one priority. We encourage everyone to continue to prepare themselves and their families for the storms arrival.
