This summer, C.F. Evans marks five years since the formation of a “Green Team” and the beginning of a company wide commitment to sustainability and green building. In honor of the upcoming celebration of Earth Day, we took a walk down memory lane. The “Green Team” that started it all has since disbanded and sustainability has become a company wide initiative over the last five years. During that time C.F. Evans has:

• Built over 1200 multifamily units certified to the National Green Building Standard including Verde Vista, Metro 808, Whitehall Parc
• 20 Certified Green Professionals on staff
• 3 LEED Green Associates on staff
• Sat on the National Green Building Standard Consensus Committee
• Spoken at various conferences about the benefits of the National Green Building Standard and multifamily developments
• Partnered with Tomato Palms Recycling in our office and on our job sites to encourage sustainable practices during our day to day

As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and advocates of the National Green Building Standard, C.F. Evans is committed to remaining up to date on the latest green building practices and providing our clients with the best solution for them and their projects. We are proud to have been part of the last 5 years of green building in the southeast and look forward to the next 5 and beyond!
