Cornerstone Community Church
Orangeburg, South Carolina
Formerly a Winn-Dixie grocery store, this project is a testimony to adaptive reuse. The selective demolition of this 55,000 SF building included a partial removal of the existing concrete floor slab and creating a new theatre-styled sanctuary/auditorium. All heating/cooling systems were replaced, emergency exits were added, numerous classrooms were constructed and a completely new entrance was installed.
