Hillcrest Village Apartments

Hillcrest Village is a multi-unit apartment spread over 3.28 acres. The complex includes 40 units ranging from 1,131 to 1,342 square feet per unit.

The married student housing was designed for the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina. An inviting courtyard plays host to picnic and barbecue areas, walking paths and playground facilities. Each apartment features a balcony that overlooks the courtyard promoting interaction among residents.

The units of Hillcrest Village include stonework to match that found throughout the campus. In addition, each unit was designed to look like a two-story home, maintaining the residential feeling of the surrounding area. The project was completed in September 2005.

This project was nominated for a Pillars of the Industry Award by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
