Calhoun Academy
St. Matthews, South Carolina
Construction of a new cafeteria adjacent to the existing gym consisted of a free-standing pre-engineered metal building structure with masonry walls. Interior finishes were accented by a dining room floor featuring the school's gold and blue colors.
"I have been a part of several building projects and renovations at Calhoun Academy by other contractors. This project with C.F. Evans was by far the easiest and most pleasant of all in which I have been involved. Not only did the workmen and superintendents try to do all we asked, but anticipated areas of difficulty and made them right. The company has certainly stood behind their work to make sure we continue to be pleased. The main building on our campus and the gymnasium were constructed by C.F. Evans in 1969-70 and in 1970-71 respectively. These buildings have certainly stood the tests of time and hundreds of students quite well."
