C.F. Evans Green Building Process

C.F. Evans's Green Building Process provides a collaborative approach for achieving sustainability goals and earning certification. Our in-house green team creates a written strategic plan for each project. Highlights of the approach include the following:

  • Setting project sustainability goals
  • Identifying green design & construction strategies
  • Creating documentation & submittal plans
  • Providing implementation oversight & support
  • Ensuring application submission
  • Following-up to ensure certification
Within C.F. Evans, sustainability is equally important. We are working to convert our existing corporate office in Orangeburg, S.C. to a LEED certified building. C.F. Evans is dedicated to building awareness and educating our employees and partners on how we can minimize our impact on the environment.

"As one of the first multifamily builders in the country to embrace the National Green Building Standard as its preferred path for green building certification, C.F. Evans’ commitment to its owners, the home building industry and the environment is evident. Independent, third-party verification of green building projects separates those who just talk about building green from those who strive to prove the legitimacy of their green building efforts.”
