Johnny Evans

Johnny Evans, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined C.F. Evans in 1975.  Since he has assumed corporate leadership from company founder, and father, Clarence F. Evans, he has grown a multi-million dollar business, delivering projects in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee.  Evans is a graduate of Clemson University.

John Barr

As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, John Barr oversees all daily corporate business operations.  He has been integrally involved with C.F. Evans's multifamily growth over the past decade.  Barr is a graduate of Wake Forest University.

Rusty Porter

As Vice President of Preconstruction Services, Rusty Porter oversees all C.F. Evans's estimating staff members and is responsible for preconstruction activities including conceptual estimating, scoping, work packaging, scheduling, competitive bidding, and purchasing.  In addition to his multifamily expertise, he has extensive manufacturing, institutional, commercial and special construction experience.  Porter is a graduate of College of Charleston.

Brett Evans

As General Superintendent of multifamily construction, Brett Evans oversees all C.F. Evans's field supervisory and craft staff members.  Brett is a graduate of Auburn University.

David Summers

As General Project Manager of multifamily construction, David Summers oversees all C.F. Evans's project management staff members.  David is a graduate of Clemson University.

Dodd Buie

Dodd Buie is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  He is responsible for directing and managing C.F. Evans's daily and long-term financial efforts based upon corporate goals and budgets.  Buie, a Certified Public Accountant, is a graduate of University of South Carolina.

Harrell Crider

Harrell Crider, a Division Manager, directs special projects construction which specializes in smaller scale projects, many with unique complexities.  He has been key part of C.F. Evans's growth for more than the past quarter century, and has served as superintendent and project manager of various projects.  Crider, a former building code official, oversees all field supervisory and craft staff members for special projects.

Rusty Ashley

As Framing Manager, Rusty Ashley oversees all C.F. Evans wood framing activities from conceptual design discussions with owners, architects and structural engineers as well as all preconstruction and construction concerns.  He has extensive experience in wood truss and panelized wall manufacturing as well as hands-on framing knowledge.  Ashley is a graduate of West Virginia State University.

Chris Brinkley

Chris Brinkley is a Division Manager whose responsibilities include directing commercial, retail and industrial construction.  For more than the past quarter century, he has a proven design/build track record with industrial clientele that includes John Deere, Mohawk, Trane, SMI Steel and Koyo.

Hank Rhame

As full-time Safety Compliance Officer, Hank Rhame is responsible for the implementation of all project safety related processes, policies, and training.  A major emphasis is on employee and subcontractor pre-task planning and compliance with OSHA standards.  Through frequent site inspections, he insures conformance to site specific plans and immediate corrective action where hazards are present or may appear.  Rhame is a former US Army officer and graduate of The Citadel.
